Are you a Netflix or Hulu fan? While we've been quarantined through this global pandemic, there hasn't really been much to do but to stay in the house and flick through your favorite movie or television show. However, do you get irritated by these streaming services sometimes? Let me explain.
Let's start off with Netflix. Of course, this everybody's going to when you just want to chill and watch a decent movie or show in the comfort of your home. But everybody knows the process isn't that smooth. First, you have to spend a lifetime finding the right movie. For some reason, Netflix always has either some old content that you saw ages ago or they'll have something uninteresting to you at that particular moment. The thing is you once you find that good movie or show to watch, you better make sure that's the one because good luck at finding some other good content to watch anytime soon after that.
After the endless scrolling, you have to worry about Netflix asking you "Hey, are you still there?". Even though I do fall asleep sometimes in the middle of a movie lol, I really hate it when it asks you that. Like, yes I am still here! Especially when you're actively watching multiple movies.
Don't get me started with Hulu. The ads are terrible. How are you supposed to be a streaming service but have ads that are like commercial breaks in between my shows? Literally, 2 minutes long. I know you can pay for the ad-free account version, but who wants to do that! Hulu really doesn't have that much of a selection either which sucks.
If Netflix had more updated content more frequently or include fan favorites, then I wouldn't really have a problem with it. The same for Hulu. They have the updated movies and tv shows, just not enough. Oh, and get rid of them annoying ads.
Netflix and Hulu has the potential to be so much more, but you just be tired of it sometimes. This is why you see people with Starz, HBO, and some whole other streaming services. Why can't we just have everything we would like on one app? We have to go to all these different places to find something enjoyable to watch.
I don't know, It's just too much. If you can relate or have your own unique experiences, share them in the comments! Also, tell me which one would your prefer!
I would say Netflix for sure. Only problem is I feel like I run out of shows to watch.
